“ Issue — Special events ‘
The Planning Report identifies that up to 180 persons may attend the site for special events.

No indication has been provided on how many and when these events are likely to occur and
how car parking will be managed, given there is only to 27 (+4 motorcycle) car spaces on-
site.

following:
(a) when and how often the events are likely to occur
(b) how is car parking for special events managed.

APPLICANT’S RESPONSE:

The special events will most likely be scheduled on: Monday evenings after 5.00pm and
outside of the Noosa Brewery’s typical trading times. The purpose of these nights would be
to promote new product lines primarily. However there may be other related opportunities
where customers wished to entertain their own product launches...

As the venue is a cellar door tasting room we'd suggest that 70% of guests would not entertain
the concept of driving due to the drink driving regulations. Taxis and Uber will provide most
of the transport and complimentary shuttle buses may also be arranged depending on the
occasion.

We would anticipate that after 59m and on weekends there will be ample surplus street
parking to accommodate any cars to compliment those available in the Noosa Brewery
carpark area.

Issue — Ancillary Dwelling Unit
No floor plan layout has been provided for the Ancillary Dwelling Unit.

Information Required
2 Please provide a floor plan for the Ancillary Dwelling Unit.

APPLICANT’S RESPONSE:

Please refer to revised Building Design Plans identified as:

Team Building Property Investments Pty Ltd- Dwg No 2016-27, Sheets 1-9 Issue M
which accompany this response. The Caretaker’s Unit layout has been included in this
drawing set.

Issue - Signage

The Planning Scheme in force at the time the application was properly made permits 1
illuminated sign per frontage, a maximum single sign face area of 4m? and a total combined
sign face area of 10m? per premises. It is considered the proposed sign face area of the
individual signs, combined total sign face area and quantity of illuminated signs does not
meet the Specific Outcomes of the Advertising Devices Code and therefore is unlikely to be
supported.

APPLICANT’S RESPONSE:

Please refer to revised Building Design Plans identified as:

Team Building Property Investments Pty Ltd- Dwg No 2016-27, Sheets 1-9 Issue M

which accompany this response. The surface area of the individual signs has been
significantly reduced and this information is reflected throughout the drawings.

Issue — Street Tree
It appears that 2 clusters of 3 street trees will be removed for the construction of both
crossovers (Venture Drive and Vision Court).

Information Required
3 Please amend plans to show replacement clusters or alternate options that provide
a similar intent. :

APPLICANT’S RESPONSE:

AGO

Debbie Johnson.
