| refer to your letter received on 9 December requesting a fee quote for your proposed
development of the above site and advise that the fee is $16,260 plus Unitywater fees.

Your proposal is for two uses — Visitor accommodation Type 4 — Conventional, for short
term visitor accommodation and Multiple housing Type 4 — Conventional, for dwelling units
to enable either use for all units in the development. Under the current fees and charges
policy the application fee would amount to $24,390, comprising $16,260 for the first use and
$8,130 for the secondary use. Given the previous approval over the site, a reduction of the
fee to $16,260 plus a Unitywater fee, can be applied in this instance.

However, no further fee reduction can be given and your justification given for works
required by the Peregian Boardwalk development cannot be attributed to this new proposal.
The Unitywater component cannot be reduced by Council.

Please note that this quote is only valid for three months from the date of this letter, after
which time a fresh request must be lodged and the fee will be reviewed.

A copy of this letter must be lodged with Council when the subject application is lodged.
