◼ Discussions and correspondence with the client.
The drawing number SK.101 indicates the locations of the waste storage areas. Please refer to the drawings
submitted along with this report. This report further elaborates on the bin location and the proposed collection
methodology.
This WMP has been prepared based on the following:
◼ Noosa Shire Council Schedule 6.10- Planning scheme policy for waste management code

4 Bin Storage
4.1 Bin Locations
The location of the waste storage area is highlighted in red in Error! Reference source not found.. It shall
be designed to meet the minimum requirements defined in Noosa Shire Council Schedule 6.10.5 - Waste
management design criteria.
4.2 Collection Access
The bin store is in the back of house area as highlighted in red in Figure 2. It is accessible directly from the
restaurant or via gate from the common area. Waste will be collected from kerb side as highlighted in green
in Figure 3 after the Building Manger relocates the bins from the waste storage area.
The kerb side loading area is generally flat without any identifiable hazards that may impact waste removal
operations. The service driveway and an on-street parking space will be used for the on-street bin collection.
To ensure the parking space remains clear, signage to prohibit parking in the space during the day and
hours of collection may be required.
While the kerb side loading area has overhead powerlines, it provides sufficient space for rear loading refuse
vehicles to operate. It is expected that refuse vehicles will not need to enter to complete waste removal
activities.
