RE:     RESPONSE TO INFORMATION REQUEST
Development Application – Material Change of Use for Entertainment and Dining Business –
Type 2 Recreation, Amusement & Fitness at 5/8 Selkirk Drive, Noosaville described Lot 5 on
SP188669: MCU16/0137


I refer to the above application and in particular to the request for additional information issued by your

Council and dated 19 December 2017.

This request listed two items that Council considers is necessary in order to complete its assessment of the
above application. The applicant has decided to respond to these items as below:


Item 1:           Please provide an updated parking assessment.

Applicant’s Response to Item 1: The applicant engaged TTM Consulting Pty Ltd to provide a
response to Councils request for an updated parking assessment. This report was sent to Council on

17 January 2017 for a preliminary review to ascertain whether the additional information addressed
Councils concerns. Staff advised that the report was reviewed by their consultant who indicated that
provided conditions were imposed with regard to class size and scheduling of classes that the
carparking provided on site would be appropriate.

A copy of the report is attached.


Item 2:           Please provide an Acoustic Report

Applicant’s Response to Item 2: The applicant engaged David Moore & Associates Pty Ltd to prepare
a noise report for the proposal which concludes that the noise from the proposed use is able to fully
comply with relevant noise limits provided all external openings are closed and volume of amplified
music must not exceed nominated levels. The applicant intends to air-condition the entire premises
and therefore no external areas are to be utilized or windows opened. A copy of the report is attached.

The applicant considers that he has now responded to Council’s information request. Would you
please provide us with a list of adjoining owners so we can commence public notification of the
proposal.
