In relation to the proposal to use the land at 17 Mary River Road,
Cooroy as a campground for up to 40 Self Contained RV’s I would like to
register my full support for the proposal.

We like many other retirees travel a lot with our Fully self contained
caravan and as we are on a pension cannot afford to do so if we are
forced to pay the high fees demanded by caravan parks for facilities
that we don’t use or require.
All we need is a flat piece of ground and somewhere in the area to dump
our grey and black waste if we are staying more than a couple of days.

A facility in this area with water available and a dump point would be a
great asset to the Noosa Shire and no doubt of great benefit to the shop
keepers in the area as the campers spend their money on supplies in the
town.

We find that where Towns have the RV Friendly signs up with parking
areas for caravans and dump points that we stop and enjoy their town and
facilities far more than in towns that are not so RV friendly.
