Governance          The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation Ltd (the “Foundation”) is a company limited by guarantee.

Funding             Under a three-year funding agreement, the Noosa Council has allocated funds to the Foundation from its
                    Environmental Levy. The Foundation also has DGR status so can receive donations from public. The Foundation
                    also leverages this funding to attract other sources of funding including in kind contributions. Leveraged funds are
                    currently reported to be 3:1
