 Main Beach Showers Upgrade Noosa Heads
Work is completed on the final stage of amenities improvements at Main Beach, Noosa Heads
which included an upgrade of the shower facilities and installation of new bin enclosures.
The shower area upgrade will help with bottlenecks and queuing at peak times by opening up
the area to provide four shower heads, doubling the current capacity of beach showers. There
will also be three standalone foot wash towers.
This work is part of a package of improvements including new rock walls increasing seating
capacity in front of the surf club and the installation of 82 security lockers, funded by the Hastings
Street Association, to keep personal belongings safe whilst at the beach. Les
