I refer to your application and advise that Council wishes to provide you with further advice
about the application in accordance with the provisions of the Development Assessment Rules
2017.

2.    FURTHER ADVICE

The response to the information request has not fully addressed the items adequately as
outlined in the Information Request dated 21 September 2020. This Further Advice letter is
the final advice Council officers will be asking for the proposal. If not addressed adequately
through this process, the proposal may not be supported or Council may issue a conditional
approval or a preliminary approval only.
You are advised that:
Issue – Filling in the road reserve
The longitudinal section shown on the submitted plan (TOD engineers, 20560-S10 Revision
A) indicates filling of the road reserve by up to 140mm at the property boundary. Council
considers that this amount is excessive in the locality and the plan does not demonstrate that
the filling of the road reserve is essential in providing access to the proposed garaging.
Information Required
1.    Provide amended plans that reduce the filling in the road reserve to the minimum amount
      necessary to provide access to the proposed garaging.
2.    Indicate on the plan the vehicle profile at the changes in grade at the property boundary
      to demonstrate the amount of filling required and that vehicles will not bottom out or
      scrap on the driveway.
