This property sold in Sept 2020, prior to this is was an owner occupied residential property. There is no precedent of Arbnb with this family home, so it needs to remain a family home and has no right to be turned into a commercial business. Further, there is insufficient parking on this narrow corner to support 5 bedrooms, there are already insufficient long term rental houses for local families and the community is suffering enough effects of transient holiday makers with absentee owners of airbnbs. It is time council supported local & existing residents rights before the commercial interest of business owners using the airbnb as their commercial business platform. There are sufficient holiday resorts and tourise accom in appropriate areas of Noosa. Leave Sunrise Beach alone, it locals haven from the tourist madness - local workers need long term homes too.
