Details of Submission I (We), make the following submission: 1. I object to the application which must be rejected unaminiously refused by Councillors and staff. 2. The proposal: (a) relates to ecologically significant land adjoining Weyba Creek, part of the Noosa River, and if approved would have a determental effect on Weyba Creek due to erosion and run off; (b) is on land acknowledged to be of significance to a great variety of flora and fauna including the endangered koala which Council has undertaken to protect and preserve. Protection and preservation must include retaining all known habitat; (c) conflicts with the character outcomes sought by the planning scheme and values of the biosphere that is Noosa; (d) is a travesty of conservation principles, is environmentally unsound and socially disadventageous as there is no need for further short term accommodation in this area based on recent studies and reports: to the contrary the detriment to community, business and the environment of too many STA's has already been evidenced. 3.
