    That an additional Item D be included to read:
    D.   Pursuant to section 272 (8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012, require any
         “Committee which has been exempted under subsection (6) to give the Council a
         written report of its deliberations”, consisting of a summary of the considerations for
         and against each measure that were considered by the Committee in reaching its
         advice or recommendations.
    Cr Jackson called for a division on the voting. The amendment was Lost 2/4.

    That the motion be amended to include an additional Item D and E to read:
    D.   Note that General Committee “live” meeting minutes will continue to be kept as a
         record; and
    E.   Provide copies of General Committee “live” meeting minutes to members of the public
         upon request.

    That the motion be amended to include an additional Item D and E to read:
    D.   That the notes taken as a live record of the General Committee meeting continue to be
         kept; and
    E.   Provide copies of the General Committee live record meeting notes to members of the
         public upon request.

    That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the Services & Organisation
    Committee meeting dated 12 June 2018 and:
    A.   Note that in future, the Planning and Environment Committee, Services and
         Organisation Committee and General Committee meetings will note the movers and
         seconders of motions in accordance with section 270 of the Local Government
         Regulation 2012;
