We wish to place an objection to the proposed development at
61 Noosa Springs drive, Noosa Heads,Qld 4567
Lot 4 on SP178340
Application Reference :MCU21/0110

Objections : 1) No set backs at rear? Since when are there no set backs
                                This would remove all trees which are part of the environment on
                                 Resort Drive at rear of building- result in an ugly building 16.1 metres
                                  In height, with no trees separating it from road, which by the way is far
                                  Too narrow , and needs widening
                             2) the complex itself would necessitate removal of picturesque Pine
                                   Trees and possibly a beautiful flowering Poinciana tree.These magnificent trees are part of our environment, and should not be removed.
                            3) traffic movement  and parking will be impossible for access to golf course. With 4 access areas including Resort Drive to a very small roundabout will be highly dangerous .
                             4) as this is a fire hazard area (has already occurred) emergency exiting
In a fire situation( which will get worse with predicted rising temperatures) will be hazardous, and will certainly result in loss of life.There is only one exit road available!
Add a 112 units (with 100 to 150 extra cars)- this is a disaster waiting to happen.
                            5) totally unsuitable site for a hotel - squeezed into an environmentally unique setting- probably be a “white elephant “with little benefit to Noosa community and business- much better to be sited in Noosa Junction -e.g. behind Post Office spare land, where all community would benefit, especially business.
                           6) being in close proximity to residential dwellings in Parkridge development, noise from functions, pool and hotel guests would not be reasonable for residents of the very quiet Residential Parkridge community.

                        We hope the Noosa Council will be receptive to these genuine concerns.
