I wish to object to the application to build a telecommunications tower at 244 Tablelands Rd Cooran on the basis it will negatively impact on the scenic amenity of immediate neighbours.
My brother and sister-in-law recently purchased a property at 226 Tablelands Road, Cooran.  The proposed 35 metre tower will be sited within 200 meters of their house and will be visible from many parts of their property including from their deck, where they spend significant time relaxing and appreciating the lovely bushland views their property has to offer.
I ask you to put yourself in their shoes and imagine yourself moving to an area, known for its natural beauty, only find yourself gazing across your property and up to a towering telecommunications tower right on your doorstep. This is what Jamie and Christine have to look forward to if this proposal is approved.
This proposal goes against both the letter and the spirit of the Noosa Plan. It is within your power to reject the application and I respectfully ask that you do so.
