5. Roadworks and Traffic Impact
5.1 PARKING AND ACCESS
The parking and access will remain mostly unchanged in this development. As the development will not generate
additional traffic and no new vehicle access, parking or manoeuvring areas are proposed, there will be no impact
to the existing road network.
Turning paths for the proposed refuse area and the delivery/service area are shown below. As illustrated, an HRV
can manoeuvre through the service area utilising a three-point on entry and a single movement to exit. If parking
bay #57 is removed, then the HRV can enter and exit in a single movement. In order for the garbage collection
vehicle to access and exit the refuse area in one movement, the entrance will need to be widened by 2.5m from its
current width.
