Hello,

As a resident of Serenity Close, I wish to register my concern regarding the abovementioned development (Application reference : 132008.176.05 ).

Specifically, the added vehicular and foot traffic plus noise disturbance this development will potentially add, impinging on the amenity of the existing residents of the street. I am also concerned with the loss of trees and natural beauty to the area as the development is very significant.

Grant street is a very narrow street without a pedestrian footpath and will not be able to handle a constant flow of traffic to the hotel development. This will cause safety issues, especially for local residents in the area.

Parking will be a serious concern also if not properly addressed. Designated parking should be given to residents on the North side of Serenity Close with the South side being off limits too general vehicles as this is where bin collections are performed.

Also has the additional electricity capacity been considered and revised with respect to this development and potential uptake to electric vehicle charging?

I hope Council takes time to consider these issues carefully and responds appropriately to protect the current serenity and natural beauty of the area.
