Attention: Development Assessment
RE: Development Application for Development Permit for Operational Works (Second Vehicle
Access Crossover) at Foedera Crescent, Tewantin described as Lot 70 on RP139233
Dear Sir/Madam,
The proposal seeks approval for a Development Permit for Operational Works (Second Vehicle Access
Crossover) at the premises.
The crossover is for the purpose of providing vehicular access to a secondary dwelling that was approved on
3 August 2023.
The site is a corner allotment and the proposal crossover would be located in the northeast corner of the site
and well separated from the existing crossover by a distance of approximately 35m. The driveway crossover
will be constructed in accordance Noosa Council Standard Drawing RS-049 and RS-050 – Residential
Driveways.
Foedera Crescent is a neighbourhood residential street with an unposted speed limit. Consequently, a default
speed limit of 50km/hr applies. A site visit has confirmed that the street is a low-speed environment and the
site is located on a corner bend in the road which causes traffic to adhere to as very low speed.
Overall, the driveway can be safely established in accordance with Standard Drawing RS-049 and RS-050
and would not impact on the safety or efficiency of the external road network.
