1.4. Proposed Development
The proposed development plan prepared by Alleanza Architecture Pty Ltd depicts the
redevelopment of the site, including the demolition of the service station and car rental structures
to make way for a new BP service station with associated car parking.
From a stormwater management perspective the following salient points are noted:
The development will result in a small reduction of the total area of impervious surfaces on
the site through the implementation of additional landscaping areas;
The site has no upstream catchment areas and currently drains via overland flow to the
street frontages; and
Existing local drainage networks convey the flows from the site to the east discharging to
Weyba Creek.
