5. REPORTS FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE COMMITTEE
1 T000061 – TRAIL 5 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT TENDER AWARD
Committee Recommendation
Moved: Cr Wilkie
Seconded: Cr Stewart
That Council note the report by the Project Manager to the Services & Organisation
Meeting dated 9 August 2022 and:
A. Award Contract T000061 for the design and construction of the Trail 5 upgrade
works to Wilson Family Trust t/a Trailworx for the lump sum price of $714,000
excluding GST; and
B. Approve expenditure under this Contract up to $800,000 excluding GST, including
contingency spend.

2 TREE MANAGEMENT ON PUBLIC LAND POLICY

That Council note the report by the Parks & Gardens Coordinator to the Services &
Organisation Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 and adopt the revised Tree
Management on Public Land Policy provided at Attachment 1.

3 COUNCILLORS’ EXPENSES REIMBURSEMENT AND PROVISION OF FACILITIES
POLICY

That Council note the report by the Director Executive Services to the Services &
Organisation Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 and adopt the updated Councillor’s
Expenses Reimbursement and Provision of Facilities Policy effective from 1 July 2022,
provided at Attachment 1 to the report.

4 AMENDMENT OF GENERAL COMMITTEE & ORDINARY MEETING DATES
OCTOBER 2022

That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the Services & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 and request the Chief Executive Officer:
A. Defer the date of the General Committee from 17 October 2022 to 24 October 2022;
and
B. Defer the date of the Ordinary Meeting from 20 October 2022 to 27 October 2022.

5 CAPITAL PROGRAM DELIVERY STATUS – 30 JUNE 2022

to the Services & Organisation Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 providing an
update on the delivery of the 2021/2022 Capital Program as at 30 June 2022.

6 NOOSA HOLIDAY PARKS UPDATE REPORT TO 30 JUNE 2022

That Council note the report by the Property Advisor – Commercial Property to the
Services & Organisation Committee Meeting dated 9 August 2022 providing an update on
operations of the Noosa Holiday Park Business Activity to 30 June 2022.
