2.3. Proposed Development Drainage Patterns
2.3.1 Stormwater Concept
The proposed development consists of works to upgrade the existing driveway access to the rear of the lot to provide
safe access under flooded conditions for a future second allotment.
An existing concrete causeway will be raised and upgraded through the provision of culverts to provide a low flow
channel beneath the crossing with capacity to convey the minor storm events fully to achieve immunity. The crossing
is designed to allow major storms to overflow across the driveway while not exceeding the depth, velocity and depth
velocity product limits for trafficable access for storms up to and including the 1% AEP.
