5. CONCLUSION & REASONS FOR DECISION
The application proposes a new building as an extension to the development that currently exists.
The new building will facilitate a new administration space for the Central Queensland University
and a Veterinary on the site. The proposal will result in the provision of additional on-site car parking
which complies with the requirements of Noosa Plan. The proposal results in a change to
numerous conditions of the current approval and the inclusion of new conditions to accommodate
the new development.
The proposed use is considered in keeping with the Overall Outcomes sought for the Community
Services zone and surrounding sites in the Noosaville Locality. The proposed development is
compatible with other uses on the land and the built form is an extension to and complements the
existing development.
