Attachment 2—Reasons for referral agency response
(Given under section 56(7) of the Planning Act 2016)

 

The reasons for SARA's decision are:

* The proposed development is for a material change of use to establish multiple dwellings (96 units)
on the subject site.

* The proposed development is unlikely to create a safety hazard of state transport infrastructure or
public passenger services by increasing the likelihood or frequency of a fatality or serious injury.

* The proposed development is unlikely to compromise the state's ability to cost-effectively construct,
operate and maintain state transport infrastructure.

* SARA assessed the development application against State code 6: Protection of state transport
networks (State code 6) of the SDAP, version 2.6 and determined that without conditions, the
development achieves compliance with the performance outcomes of the state code.
