Issue - Signage The Planning Scheme in force at the time the application was properly made permits 1 illuminated sign per frontage, a maximum single sign face area of 4m² and a total combined sign face area of 10m² per premises. It is considered the proposed sign face area of the individual signs, combined total sign face area and quantity of illuminated signs does not meet the Specific Outcomes of the Advertising Devices Code and therefore is unlikely to be supported. Should the signs be reduced to comply with the self-assessable provisions, the application for signage should be withdrawn and the relevant refund would be issued. Issue – Street Tree It appears that 2 clusters of 3 street trees will be removed for the construction of both crossovers (Venture Drive and Vision Court). Information Required Please amend plans to show replacement clusters or alternate options that provide a similar intent.
