I OBJECT to this application for the proposed NBN tower at 244 Tablelands Road
Cooran OLD 4569.


The location of the proposed NBN tower violates the SEQ Regional Plan 2017, the
Noosa Plan 2018 and the Rural Zone Code — Mary River Catchment. These plans
protect the land from urban development and the biodiversity of the area, such as
Woondum National Park and the Noosa Trail network.

The proposed NBN tower does not meet the requirements of the Noosa Planning
Scheme Policy 23 — Telecommunications Towers. The location of the proposed
tower is in an environmentally sensitive area, a ridgeline (section 2.2).

I believe that the proposed NBN tower will be detrimental to the rural character of
Cooran.
