I wish to lodge an objection to this rezoning application.


Firstly I object to the removal of a long established community activity facility.
The Noosa Heads Bowling Club has been providing an excellent facility for thousands of

people, both young and old to exercise, for 43 years. Many schools take advantage of the
free bowls coaching for their students. All members of the community can learn to bowl at
absolutely no cost. People with disability problems, or people who can no longer participate
in a competitive sport, are still able to play on a Saturday among friends and enjoy a healthy
outdoor activity.


Secondly I object to this decision being made by the current Sunshine Coast Council, the
majority members of which, do not live in the new council shire, when the new Noosa
Council is so close to being re-established. This decision should be delayed until it can be
discussed by the new council.


Please do not let our recreational area be taken from us.
