2.   SITE DETAILS
2.1. Site Description
The site is situated along Walter Hay Drive. The site forms part of the larger Noosa Civic
landholding and is described as Part of Lot 3 on SP246584. The subject area is approximately
2.6 hectares and currently vacant. The site is presently vegetated.
1.5 hectares of the site is zoned Shire Business Centre (SBC) whilst the remaining 1.1 hectare is
zoned Open Space Conservation.
The site is identified as the Recreation/Mixed Use (REC/MU) & Open Space 1 and 3 (OS1 &
OS3) precincts on the SBC Map for the zone. The Open Space 1 precinct is external to the Shire
Business Centre zone and is encompassed within the Open Space Conservation Zone.
The Noosaville Locality Code acknowledges the precinct’s separation from the balance of the
Business Centre land and that development on the site need not be associated with the balance
of the Business Centre site.
