Hi Antoinette,

As discussed over the phone, please see attached circulation maps for each Gympie Times and
Noosa News.

From my understanding the town of Cooran is more a rural/acreage/farmland area than
compared with Noosa. Cooran appears to be more centrally located within the Gympie Times
circulation area, whereas it is near the boundary of the circulation of the Noosa News.

In our opinion, given the location of Cooran (notwithstanding that it falls within Noosa Council
and not Gympie Regional Council) we believe Gympie Times would be an appropriate choice of
newspaper to publish the public notice in. The public notification requirements are for a notice
to be published in a newspaper that circulates generally in the locality of the premises the
subject of the application. As identified on the attached circulation maps this is the case.
