Dear Sir,

I am writing to support the Cooroy - Noosa Genealogical & Historical Research Group Inc. in their
quest for a suitable home for their activities.

This is a volunteer   group dedicated to Family and Local History. They have a large collection of
resources (at the moment housed in an unsuitable, damp, mouldy and crowded building) and they
provide a valuable service to the public as well as to their members.

New purpose-built     accommodation    on the site in question will not only be the reward for 18 years of
fundraising,   but will allow them to better service their members and the many visitors to the region
seeking their help.

I must emphasise what an important      group this is to the Community,   not only for the resources they
have built up over decades, but also for the knowledge and expertise they have developed and
willingly share.
