PEREGIAN BEACH ACTIVE STREET - STAGE 1 PROGRESS UPDATE AND NEXT STEPS (Deferred from the Ordinary Meeting dated 19 March 2026 - Item 12.2) · 2026-06-09 ATTACHMENT 1 to Minutes of General Committee 9.06.2026 - Peregian Beach Active Street - Further Information
2. Base Case Opportunities
a. Existing infrastructure: The project provides the opportunity to address inadequacy and
requirement for emergent works to repair storm water assets prior to/during project
implementation. Further project timeline delays and cost impacts.
b. Leverage funding structure: As the ATF grant is for construction only funding, matching
the SEQ Liveability contribution. The potential exists to expand the scope of works using
council reserves, matched by the ATF grant, to address emergent and repair works.
3. Scenario Analysis
The following table further details alternative scenarios and the differentiated risks anticipated.
