Issue – Earthwork Requirements
The submitted plans do not indicate whether any earthworks will be required for the development.
Information Required
Please provide clarification of whether any earthworks will be required to prepare the site for the construction of the development. If earthworks are required, please submit a conceptual plan that indicates the approximate volumes of cut and/or fill required.
Issue – Loading Zone Size and Manoeuvring
The submitted plans indicate the loading zone will accommodate up to a Medium Rigid Vehicle. The Driveways and Parking Code of the Noosa Planning Scheme requires Low Impact Industry sites (of 2000m2 – 3999m2) to provide a 15m x 3.6m loading bay to accommodate a semi-trailer.
Information Required
Please provide an amended plan that satisfies this requirement or alternatively provide justification why the above requirement cannot be fulfilled on the site.
Issue -Waste Collection
It is not clear how waste collection will be managed.
Information Required
Noting that side lift waste collection trucks do not service on private property, provide a detailed Waste Management Plan, which must include detail, but not be limited to the following:
Number and type of bins to be collected;
Location of where bins are to be collected;
Demonstrate how stormwater will not enter the wash bin area;
Provide details of the bin wash area’s connection to sewer infrastructure;
Type of vehicle required for the collection;
Provide travel paths for the required waste collection vehicle, demonstrating how it will manoeuvre on site without having to use more than a 3 point turn to turn around.

If you do not provide a response before the due date, it will be taken as if you have decided not to respond to the information request and Council will continue with the assessment of your application.
