Of those who responded ‘no’ we also asked if their position could change if concerns were addressed. Among the 86 ‘no’
responses, 44% (i.e., 38 respondents) agreed they would support the hotel development if these concerns were
addressed. So far as we are aware, all issues raised have been addressed conclusively in the development application and
experts’ reports. This is understandable given the accessibility to the large quantity of material and expert reports of the
development application.

If those respondents changed their minds after having their issues addressed, the ‘yes’ and ‘neutral’ positions would
result in 81% in favour or not bothered by the hotel development.
