A copy of the development application is being provided to Energex in advance of the Acknowledgement
Notice to facilitate the timely referral and assessment of the development application.

Once an Acknowledgement Notice is received, we will immediately complete the referral process pursuant to
section 272 of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 (SPA), enabling the commencement of the referral agency
assessment period, by providing a copy of the Acknowledgement Notice to Energex.

We confirm a development assessment fee is not payable in this instance.
