Submission:  Material Change of Use of Premises Commercial and Operational Works Jetty 222 Gympie Terrace Noosaville

Application Reference: MCU22/0048 and OPW22/0089




This application should not be approved for two reasons;

1.	This and every other jetty operator continually seek to extend the infrastructure in their leases with consequent overspill of activities onto public land.  Approval of such extensive pontoon building will create a precedent for other jetty owners to apply to do likewise thereby reducing recreation area available to the public.
2.	Existing Council owned decking areas providing seating and viewing opportunities to enjoy the river views will be impacted by the proposed infrastructure.  The river views will be restricted and extra noise and commotion will affect the peaceful enjoyment of this space.
