Subject: deb BCS 1309 ATT Marcus Brennan Brickworks site application From: Suna Date: 2013-05-03T02:27:13+00:00 To: Internet Mailbox Sunshine Coast Regional Council Dear Marcus Brennan, In response to the brickworks application to extract 900,000 tonnes of clay over a two year period via Lake MacDonald Drive Cooroy- we would like to violently oppose this move. We moved to Cooroy to get away from the incessant traffic noise and fumes. The amount of large trucks moving along such a narrow, already busy road would be intolerable! There is also the safety factor of us having no footpaths out here, and walking into town is already unsafe, let alone huge trucks thundering up and down wrecking the roads and travelling fast. If there was a way out of the brickworks that didn’t go down the main drive and didn’t go through housing areas, maybe, but that amount of traffic would make our life here unbearable! I have Fibromyalgia and don’t need any more fumes and noise, one of the benefits health wise is LESS traffic and fumes. This would be similar to something you would expect living on the Bruce Highway! WHO would possible want this intrusion?
