Division 1 Introduction
1 Short title
This regulation may be cited as the Local Government
(De-amalgamation Implementation) Regulation 2013.
2 Commencement
Part 7 commences on the changeover day.
Division 2 Purpose
3 Purpose of regulation—Act, s 260F
The purpose of this regulation is to implement the
de-amalgamation of the following local government areas—
(a) Cairns;
(b) Rockhampton;
(c) Sunshine Coast;
(d) Tablelands.
