PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 10 OCTOBER 2017
Conditions could be applied to a development approval requiring the environmentally significant
portion of the land be conserved in perpetuity, via land dedication, similar to previous approvals.
Development impacts on biodiversity values have not been adequately quantified by the
applicant. There is concern the stormwater quality discharged into the wetlands will have the
potential to alter the biophysical properties of the receiving environment and thus alter the unique
habitat requirement of the threatened species.
The applicant has not sufficiently demonstrated the development will not adversely impact on the
specialised habitat for threatened species through discharge of stormwater through the wetland
areas and National Park.
