Sediment accumulation on ESC devices is to be removed and disposed of to the satisfaction of Noosa Council.

5          CONCLUSION

This SWMP outlines how stormwater runoff from the site will be managed in order to not adversely impact the
receiving environment.
The proposed lawful point of discharge for the proposed development is to an existing stormwater grate located on
the northeastern corner of the allotment. Stormwater detention is not considered to be required as the proposal is
for a residential duplex on an existing lot. Stormwater runoff from the development site will need to be collected on
site and directed to the stormwater grate at the built phase to ensure no adverse impacts to neighbouring properties
as a result of the development.
The site is not impacted by flooding or tidal inundation.
Stormwater treatment should be managed through the implementation of best management practices on site. Based
on the scale of the proposed development, and typical pollutants produced, these measures are considered adequate.
By implementing the proposed stormwater management system, and providing adequate maintenance, the
downstream environment and neighbouring properties will not experience any adverse deterioration of water quality
as a result of the proposed development.
