That Council note the report by the Waste Manager to the General Committee Meeting dated 13 November 2023 and
A. Enter into a contract with Re.CYCLE (SUNSHINE COAST) Pty Ltd for 8 years, in accordance with Section 235 (A) of the Local Government Regulation 2012; and
B. Delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate, finalise and enter the contract and to approve payments to be made pursuant to the contract to a maximum of $900,000 (GST excl.), per year of the term of the contract.
Carried unanimously.
