Thank you, thank okay, so here we have five to days for the modern quality monitoring program at Burgess Creek. I'm a declaration.

Yes, absolutely. So hopefully you can see by the report that a lot has been happening in this space and I have to commend Sophie for really pulling together the different NRN groups and we've run a series of workshops now, three in total that were formal, but also more operational matters with David shelpinger. Scheltinger, who after the Queensland water directorate SWIM database which we're trying to integrate all of our data into. We had a Council workshop on the 1st of June where Unitywater came and presented the receiving environmental. Had a Council workshop June where Unitywater came and presented the receiving environmental monitoring program work. I regret there wasn't really a lot of time to get into the detail of what those results were showing but they have now agreed to share the REP report which is attached to this Council agenda. One thing that we didn't get to in that workshop that we were hoping to cover was the work that the infrastructure team has been doing around the high risk erosion working group. So that project has funding in this financial year looking at nine locations but there's still a grant pending for that to go ahead but we're hoping that work will really flow into the Burgess Creek integrated catchment management plan and a pin was put up for that at the end of last year and it looks like that has been successful in the budget outlook for 2024/25. So Burgess Creek could be looked at as one of two priority creeks under the high ridge promotion project as well. What we couldn't include in this report, it is just a little bit too late for the agenda deadline, was our submission to the water matters planning process. So Council has put forward its recommendations and management options that were proposed as part of that and we are happy to share that out of session and attach it to the General Committee agenda. In terms of the water quality program itself, or broadly across the Shire, the reason I'm dressed like this is because the Mary River catchment crawl is on today, so we'll be heading out to a range of sites this afternoon. It kicked off at 7:45 this morning. And we're really excited that the next workshop will bring our next situation analysis report, which is the water quality results from right across the Shire, so the last report was prepared by the NICCC every 2021, so it's been about two years and it will be really important to be able to compare what has happened. Over that period. So that's a bit of a summary, the only other thing to add is we're working with Sunshine Coast Council to prepare a Mary River report card as well.
