Declare the meeting open at 9:30. Firstly, I'd like to begin by an Acknowledgement to Country. I would like to respectfully acknowledge the Kabi Kabi people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters that form the region we call Noosa. Council pays its respect to elders past, present and emerging and welcomes the ongoing role that Indigenous people play within the Noosa community. I'll start with attendance and apologies. I note Councillor Wegener and Councillor Stockwell are in attendance. I note an apology from Mayor Frank Wilkie who's on leave at the moment. Can I please request before the meeting starts that everyone has their phones on silent or turned off. And I'd also like to remind Councillors of their obligations under the Council code of conduct to treat fellow Councillors and Council employees respectfully.
