2.    Tender Process

Council called a public tender for the construction works through the LG Tender Box on 21
September 2017, with advertising in both the Noosa News and Sunshine Coast Daily on 22 and
23 September 2017. The tender closed on 24 October 2017 with seven (7) conforming tenders
received.

3.    Tender Assessment

The tender evaluation panel undertook an assessment of the tender submissions from the
following respondents:
1)    Ambrose Building Pty Ltd;
2)    Build 4 U Quality Constructions;
3)    Infraco Pty Ltd;
4)    Midson Construction (Qld) Pty Ltd;
5)    Murphy Builders;
6)    PJ McCarthy; and
7)    Ram Contractors Qld Pty Ltd.

The tenders were evaluated using the following criteria:
    Capability and resourcing;
    Contract experience and track record;
    Timeline and methodology;
    Quality;
    Health and safety;
    Environment and sustainability;
    Contribution to local economy; and
    Price.
