EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Not applicable.

RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Property Officer to the Services & Organisation Committee
Meeting dated 12 December 2017 and:
A. Set fees and charges for the Noosa Holiday Parks to align with the cessation of the end of
the July 2019 Queensland school holidays; and
B. Adopt the Proposed General Cost Recovery Fees and Commercial Charges schedule for
Noosa Holiday Parks for the period ending Monday 17 July 2019 as detailed in the tables
                         contained within the report.

REPORT
Current fees and charges for the Noosa Holiday Parks apply until the end of the summer peak
season on 29 January 2019. Council maintains an ‘advance’ fees and charges schedule for the
parks to allow for forward booking of sites by customers. Twice yearly Council reviews and
amends the fees as required to maintain the forward booking period. The purpose of this report is
to propose the adoption of fees and charges for a further 6 months to the end of the June - July
2019 school holiday period.
In summary, the following changes are reflected in the revised fees and charges schedule for
consideration:

Table 1:
 Noosa River Holiday Park, Boreen Point and Noosa North Shore Campground tariffs are
proposed to increase by 1.6%-3.4% in line with inflation (and rounding).
Table 2:
 Long Term Sites Boreen Point– Storage fees are proposed to increase from $26 per week to
   $27 per week.
 Extra Persons Nightly – Over 5 Years – Boreen Point & Noosa North Shore Campgrounds
tariffs are proposed to increase from $11 per night to $11.50 per night.
 Extra Persons Nightly – Over 5 Years tariffs are proposed to increase from $13 per week to
   $13.50 per week.

Due to Council’s planned upgrade of the Noosa North Shore Beachfront Campground, forward
bookings after April 2018 have been suspended however the ‘advance’ fees and charges
schedule is proposed to be adopted for the period from the expected early 2019 reopening until
the end of the June - July 2019 school holiday period. A full fee review will be undertaken once
the redevelopment is completed and full cost pricing outcomes are known.
