• Overall, 26.4% of respondents were of the view that the biggest                                                 Cost of housing (rent, sale price etc)

• Correlational analysis was used to identify the biggest obstacles
  in different age groups.

• This analysis confirmed that the cost of housing was considered
  the biggest obstacle across all demographics except for those
  aged 45-54 and 75 years and over.

• Respondents aged 45-54 years considered the lack of available
  housing as the biggest obstacle for people living in the Noosa
  Shire, with the cost of housing their second choice.

• Those aged 75 years and over were of the view that the lack of
  affordable housing was the biggest obstacle to living in Noosa
  Shire.
