Feedback:
Refer open responses from Go Noosa survey in Section 1: Free Buses.
Value for money:
In 2020/21 there was a significant increase in the percentage of survey respondents who indicated
that they were aware of Go Noosa because they caught a free bus last year which shows value for
money in terms of marketing in previous years continuing to inform residents and visitors.
The initiatives were also promoted and marketed at no cost to Council through the following:
e Key stakeholder marketing channels, including but not limited to, Tourism Noosa, Noosa
Junction Association, Hastings St Association, Peregian Beach Community Association etc
° TransLink
° Noosa Community Radio — Community Service announcements
° Noosa News
Areas for improvement:
° Investigate opportunities to increase marketing to visitors outside the Shire particularly working
with accommodation providers.
° Aim to increase the number of survey respondents.
° Continue to work with stakeholders to promote Go Noosa.
° Continue to work collaboratively with other Council departments to promote Go Noosa (e.g.
libraries, galleries etc.).
