It is important to consider the potential impacts of out-of-zone development posed by the
application. Given the limited population growth planned for Noosa, allowing medical uses and/or
other commercial uses other specifically sought for the NBC to locate in unplanned areas has real
potential to:
Detract from demand for development of medical uses to establish within the Centre.
Reduce the likelihood of other development within the Centre seeking to co-locate with
medical uses or that would otherwise be drawn by the Centre’s increasing overall size.
