Details of how Lot 16 will be accessed.

5.1       Lot 16
Vehicular access for lot 16 will be from the southern portion of the lot. It will be an all movements access with
traffic allowed to turn right into and out of the lot. The access location will be a minimum of 6m from the
tangent point of the adjacent intersections in line with Australian Standard 2890.1.
Additionally, to ensure driver safety is upheld, minimum sight distance requirement according to AS2890.1 is
45m for a driveway fronting a 50km/hr road. Thus, the access driveway for lot 16 should be a minimum of
45m from adjacent intersections as a conservative criteria.
The indicated driveway location is outlined in Figure 5-1. This illustrates that the driveway location is suitably
located to ensure sufficient sight distance to adjacent intersections.
