Comments:

      Expenditure varies due to seasonal nature of pest and vector control program.
      Anticipated savings will be made in expenditure in wages as a result of workers
        compensation insurance for one injured Pest & Vector Officer who has not been backfilled.
      Overall the budget position appears sound for the period to ending July 2015.

2.      CUSTOMER SERVICE

(i)     Cemeteries Activities - 2014/2015 Financial Year Summary

              Conducted 54 burials, 56 ashes interments, provided 71 plaques, made 39
                reservations and completed 230 customer service requests.
              Maintained the grounds, headstones and other structures at the three cemeteries.
              Constructed new niche wall at Pomona cemetery.
              Constructed new concrete beam for burials at Tewantin cemetery.
              Completed loading 6,000 interment records into T1 system.
