◼   Door slams (2 slams per spot per hour):                        53.9 dBA Lw,eq (1m height)
◼   The number of vehicle movements used in the calculations is the total number of car movements per car
    spaces with half entering and half leaving in an hour period.
It is noted that any door slam carpark activity that is enclosed or located underground has been omitted from
the model since the noise contribution from those carparking spots is expected to be negligible. The modelled
noise sources are illustrated in Figure 6.3.

The carparking noise has been modelled and the noise emission results are shown in Table 6.5. While the
previous report assessed each carpark section individually, this report will assess the cumulative impact of all
carpark activity on the nearby receivers.

As seen in Table 6.5, noise generated by the carparks are predicted to comply with the anointed noise limits.
Additionally, the carpark noise model is somewhat conservative as it assumes equal levels of activity during
