    Public Disruption Risks      Mitigation
    Inability to attend to       As soon as possible after the tender award, a meeting will be held with the
    medical condition of a       contractor, project team and emergency services regards risk and limited

    Road Bridge B.               Temporary relocation of any high risk residents during the 72 during full road
                                 closure (except pedestrian traffic) could be an additional risk mitigation if the
                                 residents agree.
                                 The set methodology and construction phasing in the contract specifications
                                 minimise road closure durations compared to common bridge construction
                                 methodology. Moreover, during any road closure, the contractor has small taxi
                                 buses available to transport residents from their property north of the bridge to
                                 the temporary pedestrian bridge, and to bring them to their parked cars south
                                 of the bridge which could transport medical staff and equipment if required.

        Direct affected community residing north of the Tablelands Road Bridge B.
A comprehensive communication plan has been drafted and initial activities have been
undertaken as part of the project delivery.
A community consultation meeting was held with residents near Tablelands Road Bridge B in
late 2020. Residents were receptive to the temporary disruption to replace the existing bridge, with
a request they are kept well informed. Residents south of Tablelands Road Bridge B have offered
impacted residents north of the bridge to park their cars at their property if needed during
construction.
