REPORT
1. PROPOSAL
The application seeks approval for a Material Change of Use for an Undefined Use –
Motorcycle/Scooter Sales and Repair, and Caretakers Accommodation. The proposal includes the
construction of a Caretakers Accommodation at the rear of the premises in conjunction with the
existing operating business of Scooter Style Noosa Motorcycles.
The proposed Motorcycle/Scooter Sales and Repair is not a defined use identified in the Planning
Scheme. The use does not fit within the thresholds for Outdoor Sales, Low Impact Industry or
Showroom and therefore is best considered Undefined. The nature of the business includes both
indoor and outdoor sales and a repair workshop which is not considered subordinate to the sales,
but rather an integrated component of the business operations.
