The legal cost involved in the transfer of the lease, even if the transfer fails to eventuate is the
responsibility of the current lessee as consented to in writing on the 20 June 2013.

Should the transfer of the sub-lease not be approved, Council would then be required to go out
for public tender, during which time Council would still need to fund lease costs to DNRM in
addition to any ongoing maintenance costs (at a net cost given no revenue will be recovered).
